Sanjeev Shivalkar

Sanjeev qualified as a Solicitor at a well respected East End Criminal Law firm in 1993 and secured his police station and Court Duty Solicitor status the following year, qualifications which he has retained to the present day demonstrating his continuous desire to maintain a high level of knowledge, skill and practice in the area of Criminal Litigation.

Over the next 25 years he gained a considerable wealth of experience and learnt his trade by representing clients in all aspects of Criminal Defence Law and preparing cases from the early stages at the police station investigation, through to having the conduct of cases in both the Magistrates’ and Youth Courts and with the more serious, indictable only matters, before the Crown Courts.

He has also had conduct of matters heard before the House of Lords, now the Supreme Court and is regularly instructed to Judicially Review matters before the Administrative Court at the Royal Courts of Justice. Over the years of continuous development and training he has established strong interpersonal skills by advising clients from a diverse set of backgrounds and means and is now very accustomed to working with clients from all walks of life.

He is reputed by fellow professionals for his meticulous and conscientious approach to case preparation, whilst maintaining his pleasant and friendly manner but still provides no nonsense, straight talking advice and in particular is well recognised for his excellent crisis management skills when handling the most difficult of cases. Despite his many years in private practice, Sanjeev has still kept his passion and is still enthusiastic about Criminal Defence work.

Career History

Qualified as a Solicitor is 1993 after completing his training contract at Campions Solicitors. He has worked in criminal departments at various London Solicitors.

1994 - Qualified as a Court & Police Station Duty Solicitor

2002 - Partner & Director - Faradays Solicitors
